Washer & Dryer Rental – Terms & Conditions

By clicking “I Agree” and completing checkout, you (“Customer”) enter into a legally binding rental agreement with The Laundry Lease LLC (“Company”) for the rental of a washer and dryer, under the terms below. This agreement is the legal equivalent of signing a contract in person.
1. Rental Period
- Minimum rental term is 6 months (“Initial Term”) starting from the installation date.
- After the Initial Term, the agreement automatically renews on a month-to-month basis until canceled.
2. Payment
- Customer agrees to pay to the agreed amount per month (plus applicable taxes) via automatic billing through Stripe.
- Payments are due monthly on the same calendar day as the original signup.
- Failed payments must be resolved within 5 days to avoid suspension of service.
3. Cancellation
- Cancellation is not permitted during the Initial Term.
- After the Initial Term, Customer may cancel by providing 30 days’ written notice via Text Message or call to: [(352)325-2909].
- Upon cancellation, Renter will allow Owner to retrieve equipment in good condition (normal wear accepted). Any unpaid rent or repair costs will be deducted from the deposit or billed to the Renter.
4. Equipment & Maintenance
- Company will provide one (1) washer and one (1) dryer in good working order.
- Delivery, Installation and standard maintenance are included at no extra cost.
- Renter: Use equipment properly, keep it clean, and report issues immediately. Responsible for damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized repairs.
- Repairs caused by misuse, negligence, or damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in additional charges.
5. Ownership
- All rented equipment remains the property of the Company.
- Customer has no ownership rights in the equipment.
6. Access for Service & Location
- Customer agrees to provide reasonable access for installation, maintenance, repairs, or retrieval of the equipment.
- Equipment shall remain at renter’s listed address and may not be moved without Owner’s written consent.
7. Liability
- Owner is not responsible for any damage to clothing or items washed or dried using the rented equipment.
- Customer assumes responsibility for safe and proper use of the equipment.
- Owner is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from improper use.
8. Governing Law
- This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
- Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Citrus County, Florida.
9. Entire Agreement
- This agreement represents the entire understanding between Customer and Company.
- No verbal agreements or modifications are valid unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
